Cartagena
Cartagena has been a treasured place for millen-
nia, over 3000 years of history, where the visiting
cyclist breathes in the monumental testimonies of
its splendid historical past on every corner of its
streets and squares.
The main legacy of its history is the Teatro Roma-
no (Roman Theatre), built in the time of Emperor
Augustus and currently being restored. But the tou-
rist offer goes beyond, with the Museo Nacional de
Arqueología Subacuática ARQVA or Barrio del Foro
Romano and its Museum among many others, that
make it one of the most ravishing destinations in
the Mediterranean.
