In the Fortress of the Sun we travel to the Middle Ages through a visit
to its towers, walls and cisterns in the most fun way: participating in the
dramatized family visits “Treasure Hunting”, where a knight or a healer tell
you all their secrets. You will also discover a Hebrew synagogue, unique in
Europe due to the remains it preserves.

A fortress full of life
In summer the Fortress of the Sun is filled with events for all ages, such as
“The Night of the Perseids”, to enjoy the stars and music; or the night visits, in
which legends and myths come to life through curious characters. In autumn,
Witches’ Night is celebrated in which the witches wait for you hidden among
the paths and walls of the fortress. Spring has culture as its protagonist with
the Night of the Museums and winter has gastronomy with the traditional
slaughter of a Chato Murciano local pig.
