It has long been believed that the secret to eternal
youth is found in thermal waters or one of their
ingredients. In our region, you’re in luck. There are
countless authentic thermal sanctuaries to enjoy.

Located in the heart of the Valle de Ricote, the
Balneario de Archena thermal complex is
considered one of the best in Spain, due to the
quality of both its facilities and its treatments.
Another nationally renowned spa is Leana, in
Fortuna. It is known for the healing properties
of its water, its decoration and its history, which
dates back to Roman times.

Another interesting health option is the Baños de
Mula, perfect for those who love natural thermal
baths. The waters in these pools, located in an
oasis surrounded by stunning desert landscapes, is
popular amongst visitors seeking to ease their
ailments.

The coastal area of Mazarrón also deserves a special
mention. Here you can enjoy volcanic, thermal and
medicinal mineral waters that emerge from a 25-metre
deep cave known as the “Virgen de Guadalupe” .
