STAGE 20. SAN PEDRO DEL PINATAR - MURCIA

In this stage, we'll depart from the roundabout at the entrance to the
Regional Park of Las Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar, we'll
go through the municipality's town centre, passing by the Príncipe de
Asturias municipal pavilion, in order to depart on rural roads in the
direction of El Mirador, in San Javier. From here, along the service road
parallel to the motorway between Santomera and San Javier, we'll
reach Sucina, now in Murcia. A section with practically no traffic.
Leaving Sucina and passing through Hacienda Riquelme, we'll go along
the quiet RM-F19 to La Tercia. Once we've passed this town, we face
the main ascent of this stage, the 3.8 km climb to Garruchal at 2.70%,
attainable for all levels. We'll descend on the north side, with a beautiful
mountain landscape, entering the city of Murcia via Calle Mayor, until
we connect with the Vía Verde in San José de la Vega.

We'll provisionally pass under the AVE train bridge towards Los
Dolores, and we'll reach the end of the greenway. Along the edge of the
track and the Garres path, we'll connect with the cycle lane which will
take us to Auditorio y Centro de Congresos Víctor Villegas, the end of
this stage.
